About the Help Desk

UWT offers online customer support for many campus services. Each service area link at left represents a separate customer support (help desk) project. Within a typical project there is a knowledge base so you can browse or search for existing solutions, as well as a request form so you can report a problem, place an order, or ask a question.

General
Do you have a question, but are not sure whom to ask? Use this default support project for any subject not covered in the specific areas below. Requests can be routed to the appropriate project or forwarded by email to responsible parties as needed.
Cashier
Info on parking permits, bus passes, citation payments, official transcripts, petty cash, and more.
Academic Technologies
Includes information on UWT's Blackboard Learning System, technology training, multimedia lab, and production services. Visit the AT Web site to login to Blackboard, register for technology workshops, or make lab appointments.
Computer Services
Report computer and email problems, request network access, coordinate office moves, purchase hardware and software, get web development assistance.
Data Services
Everything about UWT's institutional data and student database systems (SIS, SDB, R+). Queries, reports, technical problems, feature requests, training.
Facilities Services
Campus facility issues, including standard building and grounds maintenance, lighting/electrical, HVAC, plumbing, alterations, painting, event support, furniture, flooring replacement, janitorial, Motor Pool reservations, surplus disposal, safety issues, etc.
Key/Card Access
Campus Security manages Key/Card Access requests via this help desk. If you wish to make a Key/Card Access request, and you are a pre-approved Access Administrator, fill out the UWT Access Request form
Library Information Technology
Library-related computer problems, reference desk questions, or issues not covered by other UW Libraries systems. Note: do not use the help desk to reserve library materials. Use the UW Libraries Catalog or UWT eReserves systems.
Media Services
Request audio/video equipment setups for rooms, check out equipment for academic use.
